The Las Vegas Grand Prix is staying on the F1 calendar for a long time to come.
Formula 1 has announced a 10-year extension for the Las Vegas Grand Prix, keeping the race on the calendar until 2037. The Las Vegas Strip Circuit debuted in the 2023 season and decided the 2024 drivers’ title for Max Verstappen. The race has generated a $3.2 billion economic impact for Southern Nevada and $43 million in tax revenue in 2025. The extension follows a resolution by Clark County lawmakers allowing the 3.8-mile circuit to remain until 2037. F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali expressed excitement for the future of racing in Las Vegas, highlighting the event’s impact on the economy and community. The race president, Emily Prazer, described the extension as a “defining moment” and emphasized the strong partnerships benefiting the local community. Steve Hill from LVCVA highlighted how the Grand Prix has elevated Las Vegas as a global sports and entertainment destination.
